At the moment there is tremendous onshore conventional/unconventional E&P opportunity in the UK , Poland , Australia , South Africa , South America , East African Rift - the next Africa Oil .
The difficulty seems to be predicting which will be the first cab out the rank .
The UK seems to have withdrawn itself from that race and there is always the threat of a Labour victory in the 2015 election .
One of the things I have learned over the past couple of years is that companies need to protect their share ownership registry in order to avoid being taken over too soon .
RC seems to be doing this for CTP . On the other hand look at the number of shares Oilex have issued to "sophis" who aren't interested in holding long term .
