Can undertand what you are saying cowboy but dont think anyone is really recomending non diversity per se -
Oly could have elaborated more I spose but cant constantly add disclaimers and caveats on all posts - similarly readers ought not take one post as gospel - Oly has laid out his strategy previously - and a good few times so it can get boring if it is regurgitated evey time - and he is in fact diversified in his own way - and explained his position often cash - physical gold I think no debt - cmr and one other pseudo trader of sorts .....I can see his logic


Still mulling over the pulsat guys actions - dont know the stock but where did he make the mistake --was it lumping his eggs in one basket or was it that he went on holiday and failed to watch it diligently - surely very few stocks are real bottom drawers .. for mine - there is no such animal (by that I mean put it in the draw and forget it and go on holiday) so was it that he didnt diversify or that he didn't watch the market diligently.

I am not really diversified market wise - CMR is my only investment stock - that is the only one for which I do not have a clear exit strategy in mind and intend holding for years - but watch it diligently!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did trade it in the beginning but strarted reading Olys ramblings and was prompted to look at it much closer - got the calculator out and soon stopped looking at it as a trading stock - thanks Oly!

for me I am not diversified market wise - have cmr small holding compared to some and while very confident I still watch it like a hawke ---trade others -- hold property - (short term accomodation market)---- residential --- spose we all are diversified in one way or another and may not all be in the market the blend has to be comfy for the individual
