FWD is a founder member of the group of MS companies that have proved to be a disaster for investors. In FY11 the SP was $13.50 and the DIV ws 73c ffr!! Is now an opportunity to buy into this beaten down company? FWD could hardly have timed things worse. It ploughed big sums into fancy accom in Pilbara just as demand for labour in IO had peaked. It expanded its factory in Perth making upmarket caravans/mobile homes just when Aussies reined-in their discretionary spending. So where to from here? Macro not likely to suddenly improve. Better prospects elsewhere imo.
