Agree farmboy it is very odd that ~10% of Australians vote Green when the Greens would oppose any of the infrastructure our society takes for granted. As you point out - none of our major water supply dams could be built today. Imagine today trying to build the Hume Highway if it was not there. No hope. Electricity generation - no way for the 90% of coal fired base load power we all take for granted. I could go on with many examples but readers get the point. What a failure of our society not to have done more to point out fallacies in Green policy positions as they evolved over decades.
