    Sorry to find the vector the calculation is as follows.... if the market moves up 400 points in 20 days you do:

    400*400 + 20*20 = 160400
    then use the sqaure root button on your caclulator:

    SQRT (160400) = 400.5


    This is pythagoras theory where space and time are connected by numbers or something like that.
