I think its pretty easy to see what the proposition here is... POTENTIAL!

Yes ddRNAi is unproved in humans. But the research up to now has looked very compelling.
And the general concept of RNAi therapeutics has already been proven by more advanced players in this space.
ISIS had their first mainstream drug Kynamro approved by the FDA in January last year. Since then the whole RNAi sector has gone ballistic, and not just for antisense. The knock on effect has been huge for everyone involved.

The surge happening now in BLT is in anticipation of what the current trials will mean... validation of the technology Benitec which has cornered and which could apply to multiple diseases!
If we see results pointing to that then direct comparisons with market caps the size of ISIS and Alnylam would have to be made.

Thats the potential here - ownership of a new technology that has the potential to cure many diseases!
And we have a pretty good idea if that potential could be reality very soon.
