As I expected a shocker half year with more writedowns. Yes I sold too early but still reckon the sp is on its way down to below 25c. I thought GR was the main problem with Simberi not far behind but it now seems to be the other way round with cash costs of $2177 for Simberi and $1989 for GR. Either way the PO's are a mess. If production at GR cannot be improved soon there will be yet more impairment costs. As it is the POG had better not fall US$100 otherwise there will be another $169M writedown.
My call to sell out and move into NST at the end of January not all bad though with NST up 38% since
