Please spell it correctly: QANTAS
Nine News had an article with the first paragraph
"The cash-strapped national carrier has announced first-half losses of $252 million" and;
The last paragraph:
"Qantas said it had a total liquidity of $3 billion, including $2.4 billion in cash reserves".
Does that sound contradictory??? What don't the reporters understand about $3b in liquidity??? Is that cash strapped. Bad terminology by 9.
Qantas have had a bad year but still have $3b in liquidity!
Let's hope that future management can improve Qantas's profitability in this highly competitive, low margin industry.
