It's not really that big of a risk IMO Mak, the big propping pressure came in after the initial landslide of people selling the other day.

They would be reasonably confident of holding it here knowing people are not going to want to sell much lower than this unless they know something is seriously up.

Of the 35 mil wanted on those lines props may only be 50 percent of that as there would be some genuine buyers there as well. So assuming that they they are probably only risking 15 or so million shares to try and hold it here which is peanuts compared to the 96 million that they are about to get there hands on. Further to that if if the selling started in earnest they would most likely pull any bids not yet hit and escape with minimal buying. So maybe they only get caught out with 10 mil or less, bugger all and pretty good odds when you consider what's at stake.

The exact same thing happened a week or two ago when massive buy support was there, and it looked like no chance of going down but yet after a bit of a stalemate bang it falls through.
