LOTS of born and breed aussies would like to swap for a year or so's holiday on manus island...no criteria need change...imagine the rest...the relaxation, the all of life's necessities provided...no hard slog, no paying the man...or working for the man, just pure relaxation...resort style...actually better because..,, it's all free!!!
One only needs to socialise when you feel like it, read copious books, practice a hobby...WOW!..All food and simple personal luxurys provided....many my for fathers eat their heart out at the thought.
Manus would get absolutely flooooooooooded tomorrow if the government opened an identical replica right beside for only Australian citizens to attend and get a break from Australian modern life...imagine a life devoid of everyday socially themed shit and bother!!! and better again all your shit and bother can be someone else's problem for your entire stay!! They are there solely to allow this!!
Hell I would start a 3 month sabbatical tomorrow if the identical holiday park was available...many many others would be happy to stay forever.
Can we have a few identical manus's scattered around Australia please!...if only for the simple public and social good.
