I cannot disagree with you :-). Dumbing down of the masses is what they achieved for a long long time. Intentionally? Or was it the byproduct of the churches inability to pass on the wisdoms to the flock? Or was the whole concept flawed and corrupted from the onset? Hmm... Organised religion....who organises them ?
