Have a look at the pirate bay... they didn't miss a beat after their day in court... There are massive networks of people which band togeather just to be the first to release new files onto the internet. people will just abandon skype for whatever new service will allow them to communicate for free. ISP's know this and so compete by providing convienence. Voip (voice over internet protocol) is a phone in your home which uses the internet rather then your phone service... this is more convienant then skype because it looks and works like your old phone and costs very little. I dont think alienating internet users will lead tobetter profits for telstra
