re: Ann: Interim report for the half-year end... $AU down, oil up, MAD down, it says something, doesn't it?

I don't think I could have found a school kid to write a less professional piece than Yeager's drivel. In over a page of text he basically said "Yeah, I have a plan, yep, it's going to be good! Yep, my plan includes evaluating the situation today and making things good tomorrow!" - repeat that over and over until you have a page of text and that was basically his amazing visionary outlook which he has been paid 'modestly' for. I'd honestly have felt ashamed to have handed in an essay at uni which was half that bad and even at high school I'd expected to be told off for it.

I'd think reading that would extremely concerning for a shareholder. Every paragraph literally said the exact same thing (which had zero substance, just empty rhetoric), except for one point made, which was that he was going to hire a new CFO!

What I found most amusing was that after he repeated "I'm going to analyse the situation today and make it better tomorrow" over and over and over, he concluded by saying 'Our plans are simple... here's yet another repeat of me saying I'm going to make the company better, without saying anything at all about how'

Remember those production graphs they used to put out? What happened to them? It looks like the painful truth about these wells' economics is becoming more obvious.

I agree with Paul, if Yeager is going to turn this company around it will be by letting go of the current assets and acquiring something new. If they do that it's going to look pretty strange to drop what they've claimed as massive 1P resources and go looking to get more. It's a real worry that Yeager has now had quite a few months to analyse the situation, but he still can't give us a single word about his strategy other than wanting the company to improve (duh) and hiring a new CFO. If he has a rabbit in his hat he is keeping it very well hidden and taking his time in pulling it out.
