Ah, no sb, I wouldn't know that. What I would know is that they used full cores because that is why I called PH, in the good old days when he would still talk to me. And he explained that the cores for the bulk tests were full cores - how else could one test the crushing properly? And that's why there weren't any assays for them, which was the reason for my call in the first place (because how did they know what the recoveries were if they hadn't got assays?).

And if you read the announcements, they only refer to cores. Not half cores, or three quarter cores. The cores are pretty fragile as it is - halving them would really make a mockery of the crush/scalp testing to extract those >40mm nuggets.

Anyway, that's what I was told. Have a look for the assays for the bulk test No. 2 if you like, their numbers are all given in pic 30 of the June 3rd 2011 announcement. And you could give PH a call too, and see if he can clarify the sg issue.
