tck . . you may well be right about the dignity thing. And you have a point about the lies that the skipper spun. There were however, as we all know, any number of opportunities to get of and onto passing boats, but I chose to stay. And that was the skipper's fault too I suppose, even though I was aware that he knew jack s#@t about sailing. The skipper has to take responsibility, yes!!, but were my decisions all sound? Did I do my research? Have I acted completely responsibly. Have I no blame for my predicament at all. An interesting take on life that would be. . . . No no no, it wasn't me, it's all his fault, not mine. The ship was full of holes but I stayed on board when I had opportunities to get off. I had nothing to do with my predicament. AAh c'mon . . . . give us a break.
