Sheepskin - I don't believe that you are seeing the situation clearly as it currently exists. Obviously they can't sell the gas assets at a price which is acceptable -they have been on the market for a couple of years now (at least in the case of Zola, Antiope).
Secondly, when you are short of cash, why on earth would you consider a share buy-back ?
Their non-core assets are not keenly sought - $15 mill for Taunton ......... you must be dreaming !!!
In the absence of being able to sell anything at an acceptable price then a CR looks the most obvious solution.
