A trio of positives speculator and I too would have thought the 2c divvy and accompanying franking credits would at least play a small part in the recent price rise but not today's rise because BPT went ExDiv today yet sp rose 4c, so in effect sp rose 6c.
Perhaps the rising Brent oil price and low AU$ helped today.
