Economic sanctions?
Ask every energy dependent country in EZ, not just Germany.

UN sanction?
NO, China & Russian veto.
NATO action?
Ukraine's constitution is actively forbids joining NATO a bit similar to Switzerland.

Doing nothing is not an option.

A good start would be to keep to the agreement signed. There is NO NEED to INVENT new agreements and policies.
But first of all - get back to diplomacy and discontinue the mass-media propaganda overdrive.
