Been involved with other crap all day.

OK, so we had water and C1 to C3 gas readings.

C1 = Methane
C2 = Ethane
C3 = Propane.

This spectrum would more than likely be considered in the "dry gas" range.

For oil to be present we would've ideally seen a "wet" gas indication which would have predominantly more C4 and C5 content.
C4 = Butane
C5 = Pentane.

So we have a dry hole...P&A, and move on.

Interesting from Phil...

"The Boni-1 side-track well will test the stratigraphic on-lap play of the Lower Gabus Formation sandstones against the Basement approximately 3 kilometres to the west of the vertical Balqis-1 well."

According to that, we're going to drill a 3,000m side track, and do it in just 5 days, including evaluation...hmmmm.

Lundin says we're going 800m west of the Balqis vertical well, and we're going to a planned TVD of 2,300m (MSL) (2,679m MD hole).
I'd say we'll probably start the s/t anywhere between 1,340m and 1,420m MD, (9-5/8" shoe at 1,325 MD), but above top reservoir.

Anyway, on, on. You only find more oil by drilling, and this isn't breaking the bank.
