Wise_One, I wouldn't even consider MAD an aussie company. It's an american company - derives all it's income from the US. Provided the company's bona fides check out (prod'n, reserves), they will most likely be acquired by a larger American oil producer. The advantage MAD has is that it produces conventional oil. Most of recent US M& A activity has been centred around shale plays. Shale oil is damn expensive to drill and extract, and if people are concerned about the economics of salt dome wells, they should doubly concerned about the economics of producing shale oil.
