But that aside, if you have a hole in anything it's going to leak.. it's just very convenient for the anti-gas mob that it's related to CSG. Maybe they should be protesting about dodgy pond lining techniques instead of harping on about CSG or conventional gas - whichever suits their very busy calendar.
