My thoughts are that management is hiding production levels to retain some mystery about when they will need the extra capital. My estimates suggest that the company can survive until until the Sojitz payment later in the year.
Making that $35M payment was going to be tight, but given that the production rate is still likely nowhere near 11,000 t/a, this is when they will need capital.
