Why is it that people can be intelligent, even brilliant, in so many things and yet be in spiritual darkness?

By this I assume that you regard me as "yet ... in spiritual darkness"

Would you please let me know from what I have written that leads you to this conclusion.

It seems to me from what you have written that your reasons are that I don't agree with your world view, but please correct me it I'm wrong.

Prejudice continues widespread today fueled by false religious teachings

Would you please expand. I understand that there are thousands of different religions and sects that claim to be right.
