    Chinchilla Site Visit Friday 14/3/2014
As I mentioned last week, I managed to fit in a visit to Chinchilla with the aim of finding out first hand the status of the UCG/GTL plant and to see if there was any likelyhood of the plant being sent offshore.

I received a warm welcome from the office manager and the GM at Chinchilla.

The current situation is that the plant is on care and maintenance – Gasifiier 4 was shutdown over 2 years ago and G5 was shutdown Nov 2013 both are currently producing almost pure Methane which is being routed to the flare stack.
The plant is still intact and likely to stay that way – it still performs the important role as a demonstration facility for overseas visitors as interest in UCG grows worldwide and is a valuable asset in its own right.
The current thinking is that the development of Modular plants in multiples of 5000 barrel units which can be easily and economically manufactured and shipped around the world is the way of the future.
I don’t see our Plant leaving town anytime soon.

All this is in the public domain, including our discussion of offshore partners and I came away with the same confidence in the Company that I had gained on 2 previous visits when the site was a lot busier.
The culture of Linc from my observation is Total Professionalism – Love of the Company – Respect for the Shareholders
    Proud to be a shareholder

    I concur with C2
