That's an extra-ordinary chart. Nothing remotely like this has happened since mid-2007.
It's suspected that the big drop has been caused by Russia shifting its holdings out of the U.S. Which suggests they're expecting some serious consequences from their Ukraine actions. This could get nasty. Not a guns-blazing war - but an economic war.
