Hmm..... lighten the load to extend the range of the plane?
Its seems those in control of this plane wanted it to disappear. What is intriguing about the flight path is that they could've probably flown a better path to avoid military & land based radar. If the captain had wanted to disappear I'm sure he would know where to fly in all the surrounding countries to avoid being detected by radar and what height to fly. Begs the question was he in control or a hijacker?
