And so we can ALL travel safely, legislation should be passed which will make it compulsory"

- for training to be given in pedestrian courtesy, with particular attention being given to male cyclists (and yes, I am a male);

- all bicycles should be registered;

- all cyclists must have a licence permitting them to ride on our roads, the same that applies to all motorists, but obviously at a lower rate;

- riding in packs, especially along major thoroughfares.

This hopefully will get rid of a number of rogue cyclists who currently roam our roads in Victoria, with total disregard for pedestrians' safety, and in some cases, their fellow cyclists.
