A car respects the size/space of a truck, why can't cyclists see that they need to do the same with a car?
Trucks have had additional restrictions imposed on them. Sounds like cyclists need a bit of the same.

A numberplate only needs to be around 15 centimetres wide.
Not much more annoying/space consuming, than the idiotic strobe lights that cyclists are allowed to use.
Not like it needs to be seen at more than about 20 metres.

"most cameras are fitted to helmets"
So what, if it is easy to insert a screw in the helmet, then screw one into the bike.
As your lady friend in the video clearly pointed out, a camera can be fitted to a bike.
Records her road safe actions of riding with BOTH HANDS off the handle bars. Records her stationary on the road where she puts herself at risk of being run over. Records how pre-planned the whole stunt was. Records the fact that both of her riding buddies didn't give two hoots about her welfare when she got 'doored", (have to re-write the dictionary again), but carried on filming, and harassing the cab driver.
