I think what you'll find they are thinking is that each well has a chance of success and they hope it proves so. They are simply drilling known targets which they hope have oil in them. Not much more indepth than that really, certainly nothing that they would put out a release about.
Not sure what your anger is about or directed towards It is simply the nature of the investment type we are all in. We are all disappointed but not much anyone (including management) can do about it
