Thanks Dream Weaver and saint01.
SO WHAT'S REALLY GOING ON?
http://seekingalpha.com/article/2096393-lynas-cant-afford-further-delays?isDirectRoadblock=false&source=email_rt_article_readmore&uprof=A lot more late trades up to nearly 7 PM after the above posts:
NST: 31m Fri, twice the next largest day last 12 mths, and c10 times the daily av last 12 mths. 14 MILLION TRADED XT after the 4.10 final auction, including ONE TRADE OF 11.8 MILLION @ $1.224 ( and even more strangely, 225,514 shares trade at 6.03 PM @$4,898 for $1,273,932, presumably a mistake??!)
SLR: 36m Fri, TWICE the next largest daily trade in past year, c18 MILLION traded after the closing auction up to 6.47 PM, all XT.
SAR: c27m Fri, TWICE the next largest daily last 12 months, c13MILLION traded after GE closing auction, all XT.
Even BDR heavily traded Fri, 18.5m is largest since 24Jan., including 5m traded after the closing auction.
Is this a transparent market with all this trading conducted after all of us are unable to participate? Surely this extraordinary gold trading is not just index rebalancing?
