AP and other cyclists,
We will always see it from our own point of view.
So I will make it simple reality, that doesn't include whose right or wrong.
It's better to be Judge by twelve, than carried by six.
It will be the cyclists being carried, not the motorist.
So cyclists change your attitude and ride to survive, for regardless of who is right or wrong, the cyclist will pay the price.
Personally I HAVE and WILL do what ever I can to not hit a cyclists.
I would appreciate cyclists giving me a hand to do this.
Surly I don't need to repeat the safety steps to survive the ride.
Remember.
Don't ask the cost of safety, for disaster is always a lot more.
I will repeat safety steps, in hope it will sink in.
Be visible, safety vest, bright helmet , like they use in water ski racing.
Light and reflectors, front and back, reflectors on pedals and wheel spokes so as to be seen from the side at night.
I would rather be non cool and alive, your call.
behaviour
Don't try to squeeze between vehicles.
Keep a look out for dangers ahead, with a updating safe exit strategy.
attitude most important, ride to survive.
There Is only one thing to prove, not how fast you can go thru traffic to beat the clock, it's to prove you can reach your destination in one piece and alive.
They don't call motor cyclist "Temporary Australians" for nothing.
You don't need to look tough, you need to look alive.
No skin off my nose if you live or die.
cheers,
syp
