Thanks okra. Mate I was in China two years ago and travelled by train from Shanghai to Hangzhou. All the trains were high speed and the station was state of the art.The digital display in the front of my carriage showed we were travelling at 314km/hr and that was whilst we were being served drinks. No noise and no swaying. That's just one example of many things I saw which we could learn from. The train from Shanghai to Pudong airport travels at 430km/hr.
The largest dam project the world has seen is the Three Gorges Dam. It can produce 22,500 MW. It took 18 years to build. Snowy River project took 25 years and the total combined power of Snowy- Murray scheme is 3,000 MW.
Many more examples of their technological superiority I could mention.
