You're forgetting that Iraq was bombed continuously for 10 years before being invaded. Also Iran has sophisticated missiles capable of reaching Israel. The only unknown factors are whether the military in Iran will back the mullah's and if China and Russia decide to block an invasion. Iran is 4 times the size of Iraq, about France and Germany combined.
