Why do you insure yourself privately?

A related question - do you think Medibank Private (like other Insurance companies) sell you insurance for the love of it? Hint - look up what Insurance Companies do and how they do it. Note also, you have a choice if you want to insure yourself - there are other NFP Health providers out there.
