Premier Investments is a similar type of company with 3 times the market cap of Pacific Brands. In 2013 their CEO got paid $2.64 million and the top 5 executives got paid $5.48 million. Compare this to PBG where the CEO got $1.81 millon (~68% compared to PMV) and the top 5 executives got $4.87 million (~89% compared to PMV). Basically it appears Pacific Brands top executives needs to have their pay reduced by 50%+ to have comparable pay rates to Premier Investments after adjusting for market cap. That is not even considering many people say that PMV is a much better run company and therefore their executives would deserve even more money in comparison.
