Hi rothet5153, the reason I bought into PTR was that they were not only in SA but also in Vic.and now Tasie although not for Hot Rocks. Also they are in Spain Tenerife tapping into volcanic geothermal for heating and power generation as well as China for Hot Rocks to which they never speak about for some reason or another.This is the reason I invested in this company because they seemed to be spread out in different countries and now different fields.It's been slow going which is frustrating, it's all very well for the Govt.to say we need to reduce our carbon footprint but I don't think they realized it was going to cost millions if not billions to do so.It's a proven technology but it's what GDY (Geodynamics) said in one of their reports dated 30th August 2013, this is the extract from that report. "The large scale development of the Cooper Basin EGS geothermal resource will require significant capital investment for further exploration and appraisal of the wider Innamincka
granite resource, the development of the proven resource at Habanero and extension of infrastructure to connect the resource to the National Electricity Market. Under the current market conditions this scale of expenditure is not economic and significant changes in the level of demand and improvement of wholesale power prices will be required to
support such national scale infrastructure development." So it brings me back to Petratherm's project in Spain they need to find that financial partner soon and get that project up and running to start generating some income, or it's going to be a long time before we see any sort of return on our investment.
