I was once the president of the ALP
But those bloody whistleblowers caught up with me
I only did what I thought was right
Now look at my dreadful plight
Now I worked hard for the workers you know
I'm sure they didn't mind me spending their dough
I think many others may be doing the same
I dont think I'm the only one in the game
So why am I the only one sent to jail
It really is beyond the pale
