Why australia or this time it is different according to the bulls..
1: Alot of our properties are waterfront properties since we all live on the coasts..
2: Our houses are bigger...
3: They are better built..
4: Our homes are now smarter..
5: We have more dual income households..
6: Our banks are better regulated and not loose lucy on lending..
7: Our loans are recourse loans..
8: We are in the middle of or close to the never ending boom zoom..(read China)
9: Our central bank has wiggle room..our cash rate is 2.5% compared to verually zero elsewhere. (according to a recent post we could have access to some of that @ 1.0%..(i need to do more research if thats true)
10: Our population is 'BOOMIN' and we are building fast enough..and not releasing land fast enough..
11: We have a criticaly (and they mean critical) housing shortage (can't believe ihow did my memory take so long to recall this..left it till number 10)
12: The rich chinese are looking for good investments and australia is it! Its close, its clean, its democratic, its got good edcuation system health care and it only cost you $5m or a real/or fake marriage to get here.
13: Our dollars going to go lower..hopefully sometime soon stubborn mofo :)..
14: We have a shite load of frucking we could do..
15: We are poised to become Asias food bowl..
16: Most of our mortgages outstanding is low..we have high ownership rate (and stable) and low defaults..
17: We withstood the 'GFC' like no one else..
18: The emerging markets will always need our iron ore..and minerals..and gas..
19: Ours is a much better place to live in comparison..or did i mention that already..
20: People will always need a place to live..
21: People arent going to sell at a loss they going to hold for the long term..this isnt the stock market you know..
22: Steve Keen, Grantham, H Dent and all the others bears/doomsayers/bunch-a-losers/renters have been proven wrong time and time again.
23: shit this lists is getting way too long...maybe thats the reason passive was holding out it wouldve too much work for him to try and recall it all..im going to end it with..
