It will be interesting to see whether the governments can afford to let real estate crash in the historical sense.It may have to stagnate instead.As it forms most peoples store of wealth,destruction of it would put most governments into the sin bin.Stagnation is probably the easiest course.There have been times when real estate has made little movement in 25 years;this may be about to be repeated.
