Martin, unless CMC has changed its model, they are a market-maker, rather than offering direct market access. In other words, what you are trading with them is not the 'actual' market but their own version of it. This has advantages and disadvantages. An obvious disadvantage is that market makers can manipulate trade to their own benefit. One reason I gave up on CMC.
