TUESDAY today most of my stocks went down - longs and shorts.'
HVN - short, 2 bites - closed out - TINY LOSS
DJS - short, 2 bites - closed out - SMALL LOSS
both the above retailers had strong upward movement yesterday confirming a continued uptrend on these retailers... today a sharp move down and i was able to close out from my upped bids. so i am now done with betting against the trend. I AM THINKING HVN MIGHT BE A GOOD STOCK TO TO RIDE THE OSCILLATIONS - UP AND DOWN.
FMG - long, 3 bites... very confident on this one, the iron ore price had a sharp up, US stocks up - and it did bugger all.
other longs were generally down in a small way, except my short on the CHINA A50 which was up.
a funny day where every stock went in the opposite direction to what i had expected.
