Depends what you trade, if you trade stocks then commsec have a discount rate for active traders $33 flat rate up to $250k in value.
If you trade CFD's take a look at Trade direct 365, they are a new firm. Their brokerage is .07%, the cheapest going around for a CFD provider!
They also offer more stocks to short than any other provider that I am aware of.
