re: zinifex...shorters getting squeezed/ nicky and the next bhp or rio. that's a big claim Andrewe!! in respect of zinc however there is some foundation to your position. zinc is tipped to be the metal of 2006 - underlying supply/demand equation is supposedly more favourable for increase of price than any other. ZFX offers a fantastic exposure to that being such a big producer. not sure about how hedged they are but i would think that price as much as doubling over next year or two is not unreasonable. what happens after that will depend on changes in zinc price (analysts don't seem to see continued appreciation more than 2 years ahead) and acquisitions. I reckon you have made solid buys there.
