We have an interesting time ahead of us now. Boart produces its annual reports around the middle of April each year and then holds its AGM in the middle of May. Presumably we will get some sort of update on how things are going and whether or not it is producing enough cash to keep the debtors at bay.
The share price really seems to be in a bit of a stalemate right now so it is hard to know where we are heading. Certainly it is encouraging that it has held its price above the previous lows but it does seem unable to head back up right now.
Gold seems to have broken out of its fall so here's hoping that Boart does the same. Most of the metal prices have shown some form of recovery too. Aluminium and Nickel are at two month highs and iron ore has turned up over the last month and broken the downtrend after a heavy fall. Copper, lead and zinc are all showing signs of having based too.
It is interesting that the shorters continue to stay solid in their positions.
It does feel a little like betting on horses right now!
