I am forming a view of the potential for the Phenomica jv with the Hutchinson Cambridge University group.
Let me speculate ...
I reckon their big target is cancer.
They are developing Phylomer based screening technologies to pinpoint cells on a phenotypical basis. This means that they can pick out cancer cells, of a tissue type, in a specific individual. (The screening technology patents have been awarded).
If you have the ability to pinpoint cancer cells, and you have the EET technology to deliver a poison ... you have a world beating oncology drug.
Expect some surprises from this Phenomica unit. How close they are, I really don't know ... but I reckon that this is the direction they are heading.
Pure speculation, of course.
