Forget the fact that these companies employ people. Forget the fact that they provide income to the states through royalties and taxes. Forget the fact that your computer screen wouldn't even exist except for the entrepreneurial efforts of the people running these companies.

I know the share price is driven by market forces, yet the current climate favours the seller, and that makes it hard for companies to raise funds and develop projects.

IMO, this downward manipulation is criminal as it has the ability to impede on the workings of the company.

I'm sure you can emphasise with the person trying to make a living on the coal face???

"Sorry family, there is no work for me now as the company has placed things on hold. I guess we won't be eating tonight."
