Good report and advice here:
www.brisbanetimes.com.au/queensland/cyclone-ita-has-the-potential-to-take-lives-20140411-36gmg.html
Expected to cross the coast at Cooktown at 5pm. Massive tide 1.5 meters 'higher than the highest tide you have ever seen', many inches of rain up and down the North Queensland coast and winds of 300km/hr.
People are advised to leave their homes and go to evacuation centers if the house was built before 1985 and others are advised to bunk down in their bathroom.
Good luck to all affected.
