Prices in Cabramatta have jumped and yet there's nothing there either. This did happen years ago. Cabramatta used to be the cheapest, Liverpool was a bit more upmarket. Newer areas sprung up behind there. Fairfield is an old area and on the other side of the railway tracks was an industrial area. GUildford Merrylands has always been housing and then Wetherill Park was created as an industrial area which is huge now. Some areas rose way above others for some unknown reason. Greystanes was always more expensive and I could never work out why, sometimes more than Parramatta.
There's a property here I had my eye on, it was $1.3 mill. The properties around it have come down to an average of $550k. A property up north in an area I want to move to has suddenly started to drop too.
