    ddzx ... just a couple of passing thoughts from your last 2 posts :

    " 'self' is a thought thus something the mind creates rather than the true nature of mind"

    So, on a daily level, clinging to the false mental construct of "self" creates a sense of separation (hell : anguish) ... & separation means we become victim to our life's circumstances (& all the dramas that thus unfold in our emotional body i.e. the need to defend ourselves and/or blame others/god for our trials & tribulations); whereas quietude (thru meditative practices, solitude, being in to company of harmless people etc.) releases us (as our thoughts quieten) to a truer nature of mind, whereupon we feel a deeper degree of (momentary) inner-security & peacefulness (mental state now moving towards ... heaven).


    If my last comment is true then that would mean we daily experience ourselves in a flux of changing states of lower to higher states of consciousness - depending on the circumstances in any given moment.
