Here's a chart for the SP500. I've marked examples of up days for OpEx with an up arrow, and down days with a down arrow. And then I've marked the ensuing market action.

It didn't work last month. But it did work in the previous five months. (I haven't time to go back further than that.)

So - five out of the last six months, direction of OpEx Day has followed through for the following week.
